Eleven55 Ripley

The Ripley Street District of Silver Spring, Maryland is in the midst of reinvention as a vibrant, livable downtown community.

Occupying a key site at the heart of the district, 2 blocks from the city’s new intermodal transit station, this mixed-use urban infill development features a 20-story residential tower whose gently angled form maximizes exposures and views while creating a signature presence at the urban edge.  Townhouses and residential flats wrap a parking garage at the tower’s base.  An adjacent lower scale building houses loft-style apartments and retail.  To the west, a new public park reinforces the “green necklace” being developed along the Capital Crescent Trail. The project achieved LEED Gold certification.
